A luxury, but one worth investing in.
Matte (soft) - mark making + scribbles
Natural (extra firm) - writing + more mark making
A chunky version of a Stabilo All pencil — love the thick lines. This plus water is the quickest way to add a bit of grunge to the page.
A lovely matte paint. White - more opaque than gesso! Black - alternative to my fav, black gesso, when I don’t want it to dry as quickly.
I purchase based off color, less by specific brand. I like Amsterdam, Daler Rowney, and Liquitex.
A huge stash of paper. A great choice of paper for making Everything Journals.
Not too waxy, like a lot of waxed binding thread. My sensory issues thank me for this one. Plus, it’s easier to not pierce the thread as you are binding. Score!
Black - most used
Bamboo Green - basically a neutral in my book
Variety Bundle - match to even your most niche projects
A staple for me. Great for fabric dyeing. I’ve purchased both of these multiple times.
Looser weave.
Less loose weave.
DMC is my fav. I use anywhere from one strand to all six at the same time, depending on the look I’m going for.
This has served me well! Pair with HP 32 paper for general use. Or Canon Matte Photo Paper if you want vibrant results.
