BB Stitched Fabric Bowls Class - LIVE April 11, 2026

The stitched fabric bowls you'll learn to make in this class are created entirely from fabric scraps and strips, plus thread. You'll find each bowl to be uniquely different, as they each take on a life of their own. These vessels are built through texture-rich layers of fabric and stitching, resulting in an organic, sculptural feel. They're the perfect project when you want to create something aesthetically beautiful but extremely functional at the same time.

A supply video will be added to the classroom at least one week prior to the live class to help you prepare and get ready. In this video, you'll learn about the kinds of fabric BB prefers for this project to ensure stitching ease. As well as a breakdown of other supplies that you might find useful. You'll be ready to create along with BB during the live class!

 

After the live class, you'll have three options for viewing the replay. (Replay will be uploaded to the classroom within 24 hours).

Zoom Speaker View - always see the screen of the person talking, whether it's BB or a live attendee 
Zoom Gallery View - see the gallery of live attendees and also the people spotlighted (usually BB plus whoever else is speaking)
BB only view - a higher quality recording of BB's screen. Perfect if you want to focus on what she is demoing

Q: Do I need stitching experience?
A: Nope! BB will guide you through every step. 
 
Q: Do I need a sewing machine?
A: Nope! This project is done entirely with hand stitching.
 
Q: What if I don't have a lot of fabric?
A: You don't need a lot, and you don't need anything fancy! Take a look around your house and see what you can repurpose, think: kitchen tea towels, bedsheets, old clothes... Once you start thinking about fabric in this way, you'll start seeing possibilities everywhere!
 
Q: What kind of fabric works best for this project?
A: BB prefers fabrics with a looser weave, simply because it's the easiest to stitch through. 
 
Q: What if I can't make it to the live class?
A: No problem! The replay will be uploaded to the classroom within 24 hours (usually within, that same day of class.)
 
Q: Should I wait to purchase if I can't make it live?
A: You can, however, the price will increase after the live class is over. The replay will go into BB's course catalog at that time. 
 
Q: If I can't attend live, will I still be able to ask questions?
A: Yes! There is a dedicated classroom where you can ask questions, post your work, and interact with other students.
